The Community Adult Learning Centre has re-opened and will assist people with one on one training for lots of different subjects and programs.

One of the instructors Heather Jobes tells us what they offer: " We are a certified adult learning and literacy facility that provides and supports the development and delivery of adult focussed programming. We are a certified prep location for the new Canadian Adult Education Credential which has replaced the GED. There is no cost to attend for support for adult literacy with math, employee ability skills, mature student or high school course tutoring. Computer sessions and help with programs like Word or Excel are available for a minimal fee and you can stop by and talk to the staff and see how we can help you out this year."

They have ongoing registration and the hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday and they are located downstairs at the old CO-OP. For more information call 204-687-3223 or e-mail calc@mymts.net.
