The Women’s Resource Centre in Flin Flon held their AGM at their office this past Tuesday night.

New Executive Director Madison McIntire hopes to build off a very successful year. " We had a great year and the center saw a lot of changes including three new staff members including a new  Executive Director. We have been able to offer a lot more programs and resources to the community, so that has been good for us. We want to be able to keep this up for the next year offering more groups and programs and continue to raise awareness for the cause and connecting with the community any way we can."

Nominations took place last night with Doreen Roman returning as President. The new Vice is Christi Janvier, new Treausurer is Jeremiah Herman and the new Secretary is Vanessa Campbell. Board spots went to Andrea Adison, Margaret Head Steppen, Brock Lockhart and Wanda Davidson.

The Women’s Resource Centre will be offering lots of programs for the fall and details can be found on their facebook page.
