The  City Of Flin Flon  continues to offer grants for Storefront Improvements for downtown businesses.

Councillor Mike Slipp tells us how the program works. " We are very excited , we have budgeted for sixty thousand dollars for a Main street matching grant. That is where businesses can improve their front of their business and exterior upgrades and things like that. We will match up to ten thousand dollars, so if you want to put ten thousand in,  the city will put ten thousand in. If you want to put in two hundred dollars for paint or something like that, the city will put two hundred dollars in. It is not just Main street but all the uptown businesses on Hapnot and Church. We just want to help the businesses improve the curb appeal."

You can apply by picking up an application at City Hall or you can print one off the City Of Flin Flon website.
