After a 3 month shut down for some much needed maintenance to their building the Flin Flon Public Library has re-opened to the public.
Lisa Slugoski the Library Administrator says it’s good to be back. " We are very excited to be open again and we are excited to serve the public again. We had a few material delays and a couple of issues with construction which always happens with construction. We are so happy to be re-opened and they are still doing some work outside but we are good to go inside. You will notice that we have a brand new wall and all the books are back on the shelf. We also have our discard book sale going on now and we would love to see you."
Hours are 11 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday and they plan on bringing back lots of their regular programs including Read To Me, a thousand books before kindergarten, culture day events and lots of new programs to look forward to.
You can always find out what’s going on by going to their website at flinflonpubliclibrary.org or by visiting their facebook page.
