A new addition has been added to Flin Flon when you come in from Creighton.

Two new chairs were donated late last week and are on display at the Flin Flon Duck Pond area. Flin Flon .Rec Director Cait Bailey says this will help promote tourism and signify Flin Flon being a border town.

" It was a joint project with our Tourism Officer, Economic Development Officer and Flin Flon Paks and Rec working together. It was wonderfully donated through a grant from the Flin Flon Credit Union and we are very thankful to them for that support. We thought it was really  important to have a location where people could come and take photos and do the whole your on the  Manitoba and Saakatchewan borders,  which is a really unique thing about our communities."

Bailey also mentioned that they continue to work closely with Creighton and Denare Beach on increased potential tourism for the area.
