The construction has wrapped up on Main street over by the old CO-OP and dental offices after four weeks of detours and traffic stoppages.

Mike Funk the Interim Director Of Works and Operations is very pleased with how the project went. "It went very well and we are really pleased with it , we did render some obstacles with some other infrastructure that isn't ours. We made some adjustments and all in all very pleased with the progress and we actually finished a week ahead of schedule. We did have some additional help from some local contractors on this project that helped speed things along as well and thank you to those gentleman."

There will be some work in September by Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure  who will be doing some electrical on new lights so a temporary four way stop will have to  be set up . Work will also begin on line painting including curbs and storm sewer maintenance.
