Sal’s Fitness is joining The City Of Flin Flon, Flin Flon Bombers, Reliance Services and CFAR for the first ever Rock Warriors Obstacle Race .
This will take place on Sunday September the 8th at Flinty’s Boardwalk with a Main Event and Youth Event. Treasure Daneliuk explains how it will work.
" So our Rock Warrior event that we are going to be hosting on the 8th, is going to be an obstacle course that will be a fundraiser for Northern Growing Abilities out in Creighton. It is a community event and we will have two events going on. We have our main event which is a 4.5 km run with obstacles where you will start down by the boardwalk and finish up by Sal's Fitness. There will be between 16 to 18 obstacles in the course. We are also going to be having a youth event which will start at City Hall and the Flin Flon Bombers will run that one. They will take the kids down to Rotary Park and they will go through some different obstacles and team challenges."
There is an entry fee of $27.00 for the Main Event and $23.00 for the Youth Event. They also plan on having an Artisan Market and Food Vendors on hand. You can register by going to salsfitness.ca.
