The Flin Flon Heritage Board who were formed over 20 years ago recently created an Archives Board that continues to collect artifacts and pictures to preserve Flin Flon’s rich history.
Board member Bill Hanson says they continue to make progress. " The data base is in Flin Flon and the guys from Winnipeg still have a lot of input and are archiving stuff. We have got some new collections that have come in. I want to encourage people in Flin Flon that have photos from the past including Air Cadets, Cubs, Scouts, The Ski Club or what ever to donate their family collections as there are a lot of pictures we don't have."
If you would like to view the pictures that have been collected over the years you can go to flinflonheritageboard.com or go to their facebook page. They will also have a presentation for Culture Days coming up in September.
