The biggest music event in Northern Manitoba will kick off later today at the Flin Flon Tourist Bureau Campground.
Flin Flon’s Bluberry Jam featuring artists from all over the province will hit the stage starting at 4pm today and the committee’s Crystal Kolt says they have some new events to enjoy this year.
" In the Blueberry Patch which is the new area permit where people can grab a drink and go to where ever they want to sit. There is going to be a new tent that is called the Flinty tent which is located over by the playground structrure and there will be 5 or 6 seats in there where you can watch a series of Flin Flon films.
There will be a list of all the films and times and we are really excited about a new Flin Flon documentary that we are really proud of. The Flin Flon Archive Board will also be doing a presentation on Saturday between 2 and 3 plus there will be some Iranian drumming and Celtic dancing."
They are still in need of some volunteers to help out so if you are interested you can reach out to the Blueberry Jam facebook page. If you are signed up to volunteer. they are asking you to be there a half hour before your scheduled shift and you can meet up next to the stage.
