The Town of Creighton is reporting that the Wilson fire has not grown in size in the last two days but is still not contained.

 

There is no immediate danger to the community at this time but things can change quickly and the evacuation alert and fire ban are still in effect. The Town of Creighton would still like people to pre-register online or stop by the Sportex between 8 and 5pm today.

 

They want to get information in place in case something was to change and they needed to evacuate at a moments notice.

 

Currently there are 7 different fire crews working on the fire from both Manitoba and Saskatchewn and they will continue to work until the fire is completely out , due to the proximity of how close it is to the community.
