The forest Fire that started by Wilson Lake on Wednesday night has grown slightly and is currently  5km away from Creighton.

Creighton, Denare Beach and Flin Flon have all  been put on evacuation alert, but none of these communities are in any immediate danger,  but all three municipalities want residents ready to evacuate if necessary.

Water bombers from both Manitoba and Saskatchewan continue to attack the fire from the air with fire support arriving from Prince Albert.

Representatives from all three councils are watching the fire closely and will continue to send out updates if the situation should change. Continue to monitor the three communities on facebook , city and town  websites as well as 102.9 CFAR.
