Simon House Bible Camp recognized a huge milestone this past week as Camp Director Darrell Janzen celebrated his 25th anniversary with the Bible Camp in Northern Manitoba.
Janzen says he has enjoyed his time in Northern Manitoba and looks forward to the bible camp being able to continue to reach kids across the North.
" It has been a joy to be up here serving Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan for this long. I have really enjoyed working with the people and families and it has been a really good experience over this time. Over the years we have worked to continue to develop including building a new large building a few years ago. We keep providing new activities and an excellent and safe and quality program for kids."
Janzen arrived in 1999 right out of college and has been with the camp ever since. There are plenty of programs that are taking place this summer including Junior High Camp for 11 to 13 year olds starting next week. You can sign up and find out more by going to simonhouse.ca.
