New Aqua Centre water and sewer connections are  in progress and Storm sewer renewal has been  scheduled for July at the intersection of 4th Ave and Main Street. They  are coordinating with Manitoba Infrastructure And Transportation  and this is  expected to last four to five weeks.

 

The city is also working on Storm sewer renewal on North Ave from 10 North Ave to approx. 24 North Ave with the project  expected to last three weeks

Daily operations have started and  road maintenance continues, crews are applying asphalt patching to potholes, focussing on main routes first, then onto side streets.

 

Street sweeping is  being done in critical areas that have sand buildup in preparation for crosswalk and curb painting. Grading of back lanes has started including Channing, Wally Heights, Hwy 291 and Channing drive from Manitoba and Saskatchewan border into Channing.

 

Dust control has tentatively started  and the City will continue to provide updates as they become available.
