Saskatchewan is holding their annual free fishing weekend this Saturday and Sunday which means you will be able to fish all weekend without  having to buy a licence.

Darryl Crabb the Minister Of  Environment hopes everyone will get out with their families and enjoy the experience. "  It has been around for many years and it was brought in to try and encourage people to take advantage of the outstanding resources we have in fisheries  here in Saskatchewan. It was just about trying to encourage people to get out there and get involved, and we also have a free fishing weekend in Winter as well."

Even though you don’t need a licence you  will still have to follow rules and angling limits.
