Camp Moochikun will start today at the Flin Flon Friendship Centre and is a summer day camp that will allow kids to have fun and pick up a bunch of skills.

So Camp Moochikun, it promotes healthy lifestyle, cultural awareness, educated related skills. We have elder Margaret coming in to do some teachings. We have crafts, of course indigenous based, non indigenous based. It's for all community members, kids to come in. We take them out for a few field trips. We'll be doing rock paintings, adding to that lovely snake, just a variety of different activities for the kids and it's broken up into two different categories."
The age groups are 5 to 7 and 8 to 10 and will take place daily at the Flin Flon Friendship Centre til August the 10th. Transportation is available for kids in Flin Flon and Creighton and you can find out more by contacting Joe- Anne at 204-687- 3900.
