It Was Another Successful Trout Festival Over The Weekend

A bulk of the  events wrapped up yesterday with lots of Canada Day celebrations including the Canada Day Parade which featured around 20 floats and classic cars with the theme Community Spirit.

 

After the parade people gathered  at the Creighton Ball Diamond for lots of activities and entertainment, and the Trout Festival also offered a new event this year which was a family magic show at the Rotary Wheel featuring Roger Boucher out of Prince Albert.

 

Other highlights included the free community barbecue at Pioneer Square, the revitalized fish fry at Chicken Chef, Ross Lake Regatta and another sensational fireworks display.

 

The festival will officially wrap up this Saturday with Beaver Lake Day at the main beach between 4 and 10 and another fireworks display at 11:45. Winners of the fishing derby and Share In The North will also be announced.
