There will lots of activities and entertainment as we bring in the nations birthday this Monday at the Creighton ball field.
Creighton Rec Director Lindsay Shirran has more. " Our day is a great one as we start off with the parade which will wrap up in Creighton. That leads to a fun afternoon at the Creighton ball diamond where we host our Canada day activities. We have a lot of great local entertainment as well as some outside entertainment, which will include a new addition this year with Roger Boucher the magician from Prince Albert. Our opening ceremonies will be led by the Color Party brach Canadian Branch number 73 and hosted by Dreyden Lowe. We will have various trivia , a market and free cupcakes and ice cream while supplies last and prizes."
The spray park will also be open and the Show and Shine will take place over at the Sportex. The day starts at 1pm with the flag raising and singing of Oh Canada. The event is sponsored by Hudbay, Canadian Heritage Grant and the Town Of Creighton.
