One of the longest running and popular  events of the Trout Festival will be returning  for the nations birthday this Monday.

Creighton Parks and Rec is hosting the Canada Day Parade with the theme Community Spirit  which  will begin at 11 am sharp in front of CFAR.

Lindsay Shirran says they are hoping that a lot of groups and business’s will participate. "  We have both commercial and non commercial entries and commercial would be business's like Hydro and things like that. Non commercial would be entries by volunteers, home business's, non profits, things like that. We do remind walkers who choose to march or walk , you are asked to have a designated vehicle to assist with transport during water and rest breaks so we don't hold up the parade.
