The Northern Neighbors Foundation  gathered at the Creighton Community Hall this past Wednesday to hand out over $167,000.00 of grant money to worthy organizations from Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry and Snow Lake.

The Northern Neighbors also paid tribute to long time board member and volunteer Tom Stevens who passed away earlier this year and President Jane Robillard had high praise for his involvement. "  Tom was on our board for many years and was a great advocate for the community of Creighton where he has been forever. He believed in that philanthropy and Tom was a great gift to Creighton where he never stopped giving. He never missed a meeting and didn't show up for the showy part but he was always there."
