Another Trout Festival is upon us and there is a new event to look forward to this year, the Trout Festival Fish Fry Parking Lot party which will take place at Chicken Chef.

One of the organizers Greg Kritzer talks about where the idea came from.

"  We were just looking for something new, something fresh and we were looking around the community and trying to think of things that have been successful that people have enjoyed. Blueberry Jam came to mind, so we decided to try and piggyback off that and make a mini  outdoor festival kind of thing just a one night deal. That is where the idea came from and we have been running with it."

This is an 18 plus event which will include a specialty menu, happy hour,50/50 draw and two great bands, Rockut and Flinty’s Hammer. Tickets are $20.00 and can be picked up at the Tempo Gateway, Orange Toad, Creighton Rec Office and Alpine Convenience.
