The Flin Flon Station Museum has opened at the Flin Flon campground and will have some new items on display to help preserve Flin Flon’s long history. Chair person Joe Buie tells us what is new to the museum this year.
" We have a couple new displays that we have pulled out of the back. If you haven't been to the museum before I recommend going as there is a lot of history in there. Something new this year is a couple of books from local authors which is very interesting as I didn't realize how many people in Flin Flon are authors. Most of this is written about this area, so those are on display. We also have some artifacts that all deal with winter activities from this region including curling, skating and skiing."
The museum is open daily from 10 til 6pm and there is a fee of $4.00 and will remain open til Labour day. The virtual tour is back where you can enjoy all of Flin Flon’s artifacts with a pair of 3d goggles. This will be offered online later in the summer. If you would like to arrange a private tour you can contact the museum at 204-687- 2946.
