Metis and Indigenous Music will be Shared Friday Night

Flin Flon Arts Council presents a night called of “Strings and Stories.”  Performing will be Ted Longbottom, who has toured the United  States & Canada and written for the CBC and APTN. Daniel Koulack is a Juno nominated violin player whose has performed overseas and also plays the banjo and string bass. They will be joined by  Ryan D’oust from Norway House who has performed for Queen Elizabeth II. In addition to the music they will share stories of their travels and the history of Indigenous and Metis people. This event is being done in conjunction with Home Routes; but will be taking place at Johnny’s Social Club tonight (June 14) Tickets are available at the Uptown Emporium and at the door  $25 for adults, $10 for youth, Children 12 and under Free.
