There is a brand new event to look forward to at this year’s  Trout Festival  which will be a whole new way to enjoy the Fish Fry.

Austin Mattess who is part of the Trout Festival committee gives us the details.

"The Trout Festival Fiish fry, we're kind of going above and beyond this year. Taking it to a new level. It's a parking lot party in the Chicken Chef parking lot. There's gonna be two bands, Rock Kut,  Flinty's Hammer and djing from Amisk Sounds. And then, we got tons of games too. Like a big jenga, we're gonna have bean bag toss and a whole other list of things. Of course, the fish as usual, there's also gonna be a specialty menu Chicken Chef's putting on. So it's just a huge, kind of different flair on a big event that's been going on for so long."

This event will take place on Friday, June the 28^th from 8pm to 2am and tickets are $20.00 and can be picked up at the Tempo Gateway, Orange Toad, Chicken Chef, Creighton Rec Office and Alpine Convenience.
