Community Futures Greenstone will be holding their annual Biz Kids Summer Day Camp at different locations throughout the North this summer, and Kailey Oulette the summer camp co-ordinator outlines some of the activities the kids will be doing.
" Biz Kids is a week long summer day camp where kids get to engage in workshops and classroom activities while they develop their entrepreneuial skills. During the week the students will design their own business and create a product that they will have a chance to sell at a real life market. Biz Kids embraces both learning and fun while it offers a dynamic camp experience, where morning are filled with engaging classroom sessions and afternoons are dedicated to outdoor activities. Some of our past activities have included going to MS B'S Ceramic Studio, going to the Petting Zoo and beach activities."
The camp will take place in Flin Flon July the 22nd to the 26th and will also take place in Creighton, Cranberry and Snow Lake. You can sign up at admin@cfgreenstone.com or call 204-687-6967. There is a $60.00 registration fee.
