The Flin Flon Creighton and Area SPCA has applied for funding from the Aviva Community Fund.  Manager Carmen Hiebert says they need the money to make their cat accommodation more comfortable and healthier.  She says they would like to put an addition on the side of their building in the form of a year round cat gazebo and it would be fully enclosed in glass with windows that open.  She adds they are also looking for funding for one year to educate and promote the benefits of spaying and neutering and expanding their spay and neutering subsidy program.
