The Trout Festival will kick off this summer’s festivities with the month long fishing derby which will begin on May the 29th.
One of the organizers Dianne Russell tells us how you can register.
" We are excited about the fishing derby and all you have to do is go to the Creighton Rec Tourism office, Village Of Denare Beach office , Rubys Outdoors and the Tempo Gateway. There are packages there for both adults and childrenand you can get your stuff now including tapes, rules and Zebra information on keeping our lakes safe. It is very affordible and the prices haven't changed so pick up your registrations and you should be good to go."
The derby runs from May the 29th til June 29th and entry fee is $30..00 for adults and $10.00 for kids 15 and under. Cash prizes will be awarded including $15,00.00 for biggest in each species. You can go to flinflononline.com to submit your entry.
