Premier Greg Selinger was in Snow Lake Tuesday to present a certificate to the community to recognize their bravery and courage following a plane crash last November that took the life of pilot Mark Gogal and injured seven others.  Selinger says when he read the background on this people were out there trying to open up the bush to get people in, people were using ATVs, they were using snowmobiles, they all just put down their regular activities and they all came together as a community to try to save and preserve life and they deserve credit for that. He says it’s a good example of how communities can step up and make a difference for their own citizens.

Selinger says he hopes the certificate will serve as a lasting reminder of the appreciation we all have for those who jumped into action to help.
