The Manitoba government is warning about the possibility of overland flooding in the northwestern part of the province.

Forecasters are monitoring a system that could bring up to 50 millimetres of rain and snow in the coming days.

Among the affected communities are Flin Flon and the Pas.

People in the affected areas are being advised to stay off waterways and keep away from flooding areas and dams.
