Community Futures Greenstone held a  Women In Business Community Celebration back in March show casing some successful women in business here in Flin Flon. The event was moderated and hosted by the Chamber of Commerce’s Dianne Russell who was very happy with the turn out.

"It was so great to see a full packed room, just full of women, really excited to celebrate the opportunity for entrepreneurship. Half of them, if not more were already entrepreneurs. So part of the evening was getting the support by Kelly and Cindy and Dawn, but it was also about supporting each other. So it was just really great motivation, motivational evening. And we know we're going to have a lot more in the future because there is just so many women going into business these days."

Russell went on to add they will be doing more events in the future to help promote helping people get into business in the North.
