FFSD Report

APPOINTMENTS, APPROVALS, AND THANKS WERE ON THE AGENDA  TUESDAY EVENING.

 

THE FFSD TRUSTEES MET EARLIER THIS WEEK AHEAD OF SPRING BREAK WHERE DURING HER REPORT, SUPERINTENDENT, TAMMY BALLANTYNE, THANKED ALL OF THE DIVISIONS STAFF WHO CONTINUE TO WORK TIRELESSLY FOR THE STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.

 

SHE ALSO WENT ON TO COMMENT HOW FORTUNATE THE DIVISION IS TO HAVE SUCH AN AMAZING GROUP OF STAFF AND STUDENTS WHO ARE NO DOUBT LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING BREAK.

 

THE TRUSTEES APPROVED THE BUDGET FOR THIS YEAR AND IT WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE MANITOBA EDUCATION FUNDING BRANCH NO LATER THAN MARCH 31ST THIS YEAR AS REQUIRED.

 

THE BOARD ALSO AGREED TO SUBMIT THE 2024 SPECIAL LEVY REQUEST TO THE CITY NO LATER THAN THE DEADLINE THIS FRIDAY.

 

THE TRUSTEES PASSED A MOTION TO APPOINT JORDAN DUMENKO AS PRINCIPAL OF HAPNOT COLLEGIATE EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 4th THIS YEAR. 

 

THEY ALSO AGREED TO APPOINT MICHAEL McLELLAN AS VICE PRINCIPAL OF HAPNOT EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 4th.

 

THE LAST MOTION PASSED WAS TO APPOINT EMILY KNOWLES AS VICE PRINCIPAL OF RUTH BETTS EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 4th.
