GED Will No Longer Be Available In Canada As Of May

The GED will no longer be available in Canada as of May 3, 2024. Manitobans have until April 2024 to write their GED tests. One of the teachers from the Adult Learning Center Heather Jobes explains.

"  Effective summer 2024, the Canadian Adult Education Credential, CAEC will replace the GED in Manitoba. The Community Adult Learning Center is a GED test center and is located on the lower level of the CO-OP Plaza on Main street in Flin Flon. The center has scheduled GED test dates for April the 12th and 13th,  and if you are interested in writing GED tests please register at least  three weeks in advance of the test dates. The current GED testing will be replaced by a new Canadian testing system starting in the fall at our center."

For more information, you can  contact Heather at the Community Adult Learning Centre at 204-687-3223 or drop by and talk to their  instructors.
