Starting next Monday the City of Flin Flon will be conducting a fall clean up of local cemeteries.  Recreation Manager Mike Dubreuil is asking you to help by removing personal items.  He says under the city bylaw there are certain things that are prohibited within the cemetery although people do put them there for a good will gesture, things like a small vase with flowers in it, things that in the spring or over the winter may become hazardous when there needs to be an interment or maintenance done at the cemetery.

Dubreuil says they are asking you to remove any items that are not permanently attached to a headstone or plot that you would like to keep before next Monday.  If you have any questions you can contact the Cemetery Maintenance Contractor at 204-687-0642.
