Preparations continue for the Bust The Winter Blues Festival which is only two and a half weeks away and Creighton Rec Director Lindsay Shirran tells us even with the lack of snow they have a lot of great events planned.
" We have a lot of great events planned so as of right now everything is a go. We have senior card making, the Kinnettes are having a trivia night, we have some Bomber games. We will also have a home business market at ST Annes Hall, so if you are looking to participate in that you can contact Rikki at the Hooter and get a table. Our family fun day in Creighton is always a great event and we will have free hot dogs and hot chocolate while supplies last. The Phantom Lake Soccer Club will be holding an outdoor snow soccer event, plus a celebrity smooshing contest and lots of other events including our family dance."
The event kicks off on Friday March the 1st and will wrap up on Sunday March the 4th and the event is hosted by the Town Of Creighton, The City Of Flin Flon, NHRA and the Flin Flon Aboriginal Friendship Centre. The full schedule of events can be seen on the Town Of Creighton and City Of Flin Flon facebook pages
