There Is A Way To Get Out And Enjoy Flin Flon's Beautiful Landscapes

A Trails Committee has been formed to help people access the beautiful landscapes that exist right across the Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach  area. A number of trails are already open and Leslie Beck who is on the committee tells us how they are going to be moving forward.

" We are fortunately going to be working under the non profit of the Chamber Of Commerce from Flin Flon and district and we are very grateful for that. The Trails committee has had one meeting and the goal is to then work with Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach and cottage country to organize the wonderful access we have to trails and back country. We want to work between Flin Flon and the Saskatchewan side and out to Bakers Narrows. We want to properly map and sign and build some safety for people that are going to be using the trails and hopefully some economic development around that for tourism."

They will be holding another meeting on Tuesday February the 13th, 7pm at City Council Chambers and is open to the general public. They will be looking to put together an executive and set up some committees. They have been given approval from the government to be part of the Trans Canada Trail which will be set up between Denare Beach and Bakers Narrows.
