Fundraising continues for the new Flin Flon Aqua Centre as they continue to find ways to raise money for a new facility which is greatly needed for Flin Flon and the surrounding area.

The city has unveiled some new ways to help out with funding as we get the details from Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey.

" So there is a bunch of different ways that you can take part by supporting us with any of our fundraising initiatives. An  easy way for anyone that is in town that doesn't get out, might live out of town, some former Flin Flonners. If you go to the City Of Flin Flon webpage and select Aqua Centre and funding and  ways to help , you can click the link. That will take you right to our paypal account where you can donate directly to the City Of Flin Flon, Flin Flon  Aqua Centre project. It is really easy and you can donate through a paypal account, debit card or credit card."

Construction will continue in the spring with the next stage which will include the finishing of piling, working on the exterior building including the floor and pool basins.
