If you are a non profit group or organization that is looking for some funding, grants are available right now through the Northern Neighbors Foundation.

" What we are looking for is grants for community projects. If you are a group or organization in any of our surrounding communities of Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry, Sheriden or Snow Lake that is looking to do a community project. Normally you have to be a registered charity in order to be eligible. You can get around that by partnering with someone who does have a registered charity number. We like to see things like literacy, helping people, assisting vulnerable people, seniors, students and anything that is helping and making our community a better place to live."
The deadline for applications is February the 15th and approximately $150,000.00 will be distributed to organizations in our area. You can get an application right off the website at northernneighbors.com. Information is also available on their website.
