The City of Flin Flon is holding a hazardous waste collection in cooperation with Manitoba Hazardous Waste Management Corporation.  Recreation Manager Mike Dubreuil says the big thing is that it’s free so if you have paint cans, motor oil and stuff like that around your garage you know you can’t take to the landfill, you are encouraged you to come out on Thursday and drop those off.  He says they have an organization that comes in every September for this and this way the hazardous waste is properly contained and disposed of outside our municipality.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection runs from 4 to 8 Thursday at Centoba Park.
