Plans have started for the Bust The Winter Blues Festival which is coming up in early March. Creighton Recreation Director Lindsay Shirran tells us some of the events they have planned so far.

"  Bust The Winter Blues will be held March the first to the third and will be a joint effort with the Town Of Creighton, City Of Flin Flon, Friendship Centre and the Northern Health Region. This year we have confirmed so far on Friday the Trivia Night, we are hoping to schedule in a senior's event. On Saturday we will have a craft sale, fun afternoon at the Sportex which will include a bonfire, cup cake decorating, cultural games, fish pond and celebrity smooshing event. That will lead up to the firworks and family dance,  and then Sunday we will have a toddler gym and hopefully more snow for the Ski Club's Centalloppet and the Snowmobile Club's poker derby."

The Bust the Blues committee have another meeting to iron a few more things out then they will post their complete schedule of events on the Town Of Creighton and City Of Flin Flon websites and facebook pages.
