The Flin Flon Salvation Army Christmas kettle  campaign has officially wrapped up as they were raising money for their Christmas hampers and lunch program throughout  the month of December. Salvation Army Captain Mark Burford says due to your generosity a lot of people were able to have a decent Christmas.

" It was a very busy season but I am happy to report it was a successful season as we had a 182 Christmas hampers packed and distributed in Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry, Sheriden and Cold Lake. What helps us able to do that is our kettle campaign and mail in campaign. Our kettles were very successful and are very thankful on how generous the community was this year. We raised over $23,000.00 on the kettles, the exact total was $23,640.50. Our mail in campaign brought in $11,945.00 even."
