On Friday December 22nd at approximately 8:55 am, Cross Lake RCMP received a report of an injured male inside a residence in Pimicikamak Cree Nation. When officers arrived, they located a deceased 47 year-old male from the community and considered his death suspicious.
On Saturday December 23rd RCMP Major Crime Services investigators arrested Christopher Scott, 42, and charged him with Manslaughter in relation to the death of a 47-year-old male on December 22nd.
Scott is from Pimicikamak Cree Nation and remains in custody. He will appear in court in Thompson on Wednesday December the 2th.
