Operation Red Nose had their best weekend so far this holiday season as they were extremely  busy this past weekend as we get the details from the Flin Flon Rotary Club’s Ted Hewitt.

" This past weekend the Steelworkers provided the volunteers for Friday and the Hudbay and Ruth Betts staff provided the volunteers on Saturday. A total of 31 rides were provided for our clients to have a safe ride home and it was by far the best weekend we had this year. It went very well actually."

Operation Red Nose will only operate for one more night and that will be for New Year’s Eve and are still in desperate need of volunteers,  so if you are interested you are urged to contact Ted Hewitt a.s.a.p at 204-687-7450 or tedheitt@outlook.com. Operation Rednose numbers are up this year with a total of 89 rides for 7 evenings. Operation Red Nose had 89 total rides  last year operating for 9 nights.
