Operation Red Nose will once again be running in Flin Flon over the Christmas season to make sure you, your vehicle and party can all get home safe and sound throughout the holidays. The Rotary Club will once again be running the service and Rotarian Ted Hewitt knows how important this is for the community.
" Operation Red Nose started 30 years ago in Quebec, came to Manitoba 25 years ago and it has been in Flin Flon the last 22 years.The purpose of Operation Red Nose in reality is to raise money to give back to the community for children's activities. It provides rides to people who should not be driving and provides a safety service for the community."
The honorary chairperson is Krista Eastman and if you or your volunteer group would like to volunteer for a weekend you can contact Ted at 204-687-7450 and the service will start on Saturday November the 25th with the Border Explorers volunteering for the night.
