Adult classes are underway for another season

The Community Adult Learning Center has started their new season.  Barry is the new Coordinator and says they offer a variety of courses for adults who are 18 and older with individual instruction or group sessions.  He says they deliver programming to adults who wish to upgrade and learn new skills in reading, writing, math and GED preparation for the exam.  He adds they also offer computer sessions for a nominal fee in areas such as using the internet, emailing, Excel, Word Processing and social networking as in Facebook, Twitter and Skype.  He says instructional use of digital equipment as in using your digital camera, USB flash drive or scanner is available as well.

The programs at the Adult Learning Center are free and they are open from September to June from 9 to 4 Monday to Friday. Registration is ongoing during the year. For information you can call Barry or Laura at 204-687-3223 or visit them on the lower level of the Co-op store.
