Freedom Outreach And Teen Challenge are coming off a couple of very successful fundraisers including the Duck Race and a $15,000.00 donation from a foundation towards getting their office opened on Main street. Al Legore the Program Co-ordinator says they should be able to open the office very soon.

" We are working on the building right now to do repairs to get it up to standards. We need fire exit lighting put in before we can actually bring people into the community office. That is what we are in the process of doing right now is getting the fire  escapes and lighting in. Our hope is this fall to start opening it up to do small community group programs and just reaching out to people in the streets if they need help with programs and things."
