City Council Passes Resolution

A recently formed committee of Flin Flon City   council  has been put together to work on a long term basis with citizens, business’s, Law Enforcement and nearby communities to address the crime in our area.

City Councillor Mike Slip says they have passed  a resolution which should make a big difference to home owners. " My co-hort Judy Eagle brought this to City Council and it is a resolution where we will provide an offsetting grant of $150.00 on people's property tax to resident owners. This will be used to put a security camera up. We know that these security cameras make a difference when it comes to crime, petty crime and major crime. It works and the RCMP love it."
