Duck Race Makes A Big Splash

Freedom Outreach held their annual Duck Race at the Wallace street  bridge on Saturday afternoon and the Program Director Al Legore was very happy with the turn out and support they have received.

"It has been a great day, glad to see everyone come out and we want to thank everyone for the duck tickets being sold out early. This is going to a good cause helping many men and ladies who have addiction issues right across Manitoba. So we are actually helping our local center with the help they need. It was a great race and we want to throw a big shout out to all our volunteers and everybody who bought tickets to make this happen."

Congratulations to all the winners including Rick Banting who came first with ticket number 0906 and wins the Polaris Quad, Ross Kucheran finished second with ticket number 0119 and won a kayak. Mark Ramshaw was third and won a $500.00 gift certificate from Frontline. David Harris won the pre race with ticket number 0357 and wins $50.00 from Inferno Schwarma.
