The Flin Flon Creighton Area SPCA is planning some fundraisers through out the summer including a pledge show which will take place on 102.9 CFAR on August the 24th and 25th.
President Heather Richardson explains how it will work. " So basically it is a telethon , we will be on the radio with fun facts, sad stories, success stories and lots of other interesting tidbits. We are also going to be having a dog walk on August the 26th and we will be walking around the community on a pre planned route. We want to make people aware of what's happening in our community."
The Pledge Show will start at 9:45 and last about two and a half hours. The proceeds from the show will go to purchasing new kennels. Charitable receipts will be issued to anyone who makes a donation and you can call 204-687-8744 or e-mail ffspca@mymts.net for more information.
