Denare Beach has a new convenience store that actually opened up last May by Mark and Eileen Ramshaw. The store is called Marent Convenience and store owner Mark Ramshaw  says they saw a really good opportunity.

“A number of years ago of course, we pastored the church right next door and we saw the building was available for sale...so I went and talked to the owner of it and we made a deal, we bought it and we just felt it would be good to have a convenience store. I’ve had experience, I have another convenience store in Green Lake...so we opened this one up and I know how to run one and its turned out really good!”

The store specializes in frozen foods and meats including steaks, burgers, pork chops, chicken wings, bacon, ribs and chicken breasts. They also carry a full line of grocery items, laundry facilities, lottery, tobacco products and ice cream.

The store hours are Monday to Saturday 8am to 9pm and Sunday 5pm to 9pm.
