After a 12 year hiatus the Gateway restaurant has re-opened for business featuring all the great menu items from the past including the Footlong, Go-Go burger, finger cut fries and lots of different milkshakes to choose from.

Co- Owner Mitch Foster says there was a lot of preparation to get the restaurant opened and they look forward to serving the public one again. 

" Tons, like I said before we were closed for more than a decade, so first things first we needed to get everything recertified, up to code, all that fun stuff. We basicilly rebuilt the menu from ground up, but we wanted to make sure that all our staples remained in place. We have brought back the footlongs and cheeseburgers to try and remain as close to the original as we possibly could."

Besides all the popular menu items from the past, the Gateway has also expanded the menu to include Smoothies, Ice Coffee  and lots of other tasty treats. The restaurant will be open 11 to 7 Monday to Friday and you can order online at www.gatewaycafe.com.
