On July 4, 2023, just before 6:00 am, Cranberry Portage RCMP received a report of a possible abduction in Sherridon, Manitoba. It is believed that Rory Thomas, 29, of Thompson, abducted Angelica McKay, 29. Police believe McKay is in danger and that Thomas may be in possession of a firearm.

 

It was believed that Thomas and McKay could of travelled to Cranberry or Flin Flon, but the RCMP have located Angelica McKay in Cold Lake, Manitoba safely and not physically injured.

 

Rory Thomas is still at large and RCMP continue their search.

 

Thomas is described as 6’ tall and 196 pounds. He has short black hair and facial hair. He also has a large dragon tattoo on the left side of his face and tattoos over his eyes and cheeks.
